How to play

emoji_eventsGoal

Connect every island into one network with bridges, so each island has exactly as many bridge ends as its number. Every puzzle has a single solution — you never have to guess.

gavelRules

  • Bridges run straight, horizontally or vertically, between two islands
  • At most two bridges join any pair of islands
  • Bridges may not cross each other or pass over an island
  • Each island's number is the exact total of bridge ends that touch it
  • When finished, every island must be reachable from every other

sports_esportsHow to Play

  • Tap the water between two islands to lay a bridge there; tap again for a second bridge, once more to clear
  • Or drag from an island toward a neighbour — the bridge you are about to lay is shown as you pull, and letting go lays it
  • Or tap an island to select it: dashed lines show every island it can reach (red where another bridge is in the way), then tap one of them
  • An island turns green when its number is met, red if you have given it too many
  • Use Hint to place one correct bridge, and Undo to step back
  • Keyboard: arrows or WASD walk the cursor island to island, Enter lays a bridge along the step you just took, Z undoes

lightbulbTips

  • Start with the tightest islands: a corner marked 3 or an edge marked 5 can only be satisfied one way
  • An island whose number equals all its possible bridge ends must use every one — draw those first
  • Watch for islands that would be cut off, and keep the whole network joined as you go

speedDifficulty

The board grows with difficulty: 7×7, 9×9 and 11×11, with more islands each step. A bigger board means longer chains of deduction, never guesswork.
