How to play

Goal

A tournament clock for two people playing over a real board. Each half is one player's button: press yours when you have moved and the opponent's clock starts.

How to Play

  • Tap either half to start — White moves first
  • Press your own half when you have moved; you cannot press your opponent's
  • The bar and the colour show how much time is left; both go orange in the last thirty seconds
  • Increment is added to your clock when you complete a move, and is not capped — move fast and you bank time
  • Pause and reset sit in the strip down the middle

Tips

  • Set the phone flat between you, one player at each end
  • The clock keeps real time, so it stays honest if the app is interrupted
  • Your move count sits under your clock
  • On a keyboard: space passes the turn, P pauses, R resets, Escape leaves
