How to play
emoji_eventsGoal
Fill the grid so every row and column contains each number from 1 to the grid size exactly once, with every inequality sign satisfied. Each puzzle has a single solution.
gavelRules
- Each number appears once in every row and once in every column (there are no boxes)
- Every sign between two cells must hold — a sign always points at the smaller number
- Some cells start filled in as clues
sports_esportsHow to Play
- Tap a cell to select it, then tap a number — or press it on the keyboard — to place it
- Tap the same number again, or use Erase, to clear the cell
- A cell turns red only when it breaks a rule you can see: a repeat in its row or column, or a violated sign — never because it disagrees with the hidden answer, so you can't guess your way through
- Hint reveals one cell
- Keyboard: arrows or WASD move the cursor, number keys place a value, Backspace clears, Z undoes
lightbulbTips
- Start at the ends of a sign chain: the smallest cell in a run of '<' must be a 1, and the largest must be the top value
- Combine the line rule with the signs — a value ruled out of a row often forces a neighbour through its sign
- Fix the extremes first, then let the middle fall into place
speedDifficulty
Boards run 4×4, 5×5 and 6×6. Expert keeps the 6×6 board but starts with the fewest clues, so you lean hardest on the inequality signs.
